• Philco, a founding member of this collective, where a vision for sound art grew into a broader community of creators across mediums.

    “
In the mid-1970s, I shifted from traditional art to sound, building my own synthesizer and experimenting with subliminal audio on reel-to-reel tape. At the same time, I worked in animation, contributing to Ralph Bakshi’s The Lord of the Rings and Hanna-Barbera classics like Scooby-Doo and Space Ghost.

    Punk and Mystic Records
By 1978, I had moved to Downtown Los Angeles, launching IMACON Productions to film punk bands at the Starwood. Soon after, I joined Music Lab Studios, then becoming an engineer for Mystic Records in 1980, where I produced and engineered dozens of influential punk albums.

In the 1990s, I transitioned into post-production sound, contributing to projects like Digimon, The Avengers (Fox Family Channel), and hundreds of trailers and independent films over three decades.

    Independent Projects
In the early 2000s, I founded Split 7 Records, releasing Paychobilly, pUnK, and underground music until 2005.

Since retiring from commercial audio in 2020, I’ve focused on personal projects exploring the intersections of sound, image, and perception—returning to my experimental roots.”
